The Gotland Boot with Rubber Sole is the same ankle-height warmth you know, with one addition: you can finally take it past the front door. A quick trip to the garden, the letterbox, the car — the rubber sole means the ritual doesn't have to end at the threshold anymore.

Each pair is felted by hand from New Zealand strong wool — naturally breathable, naturally insulating, and it holds its shape wear after wear. The flexible rubber sole adds grip and a little extra structure underfoot, without losing the softness that made the Gotland what it is.
Structured through the ankle, the Gotland shapes to your foot with wear. Worn barefoot, it moulds fastest and fits best over time.

Woolfi's have a generous fit, so we recommend choosing one size down from your usual size. If you are between sizes, always size down.
The wool will gently mould in width and volume as you wear it, but not in length. A little heel movement can be normal at first and should reduce as the slipper settles around your foot. If the fit still feels slightly roomy, adding a Woolfi felt insole can help.

If your home has synthetic carpet, we recommend choosing the Suffolk with its suede sole instead.

Wool naturally resists dirt and odour. Air your slippers regularly and vacuum or gently brush away dust.
To protect the natural rubber sole, keep it away from strong heat, prolonged direct sunlight and cleaning chemicals or solvents. If the slippers become damp, allow them to dry naturally away from direct heat.

Are your rubber soles flat? How do they compare to suede soles?
Yes — our soles are made from natural crepe rubber sheet and are flat rather than convex or domed. Unlike some moulded rubber soles that feel firm and rounded, crepe rubber is soft, flexible and designed to move naturally with your foot.
In feel, crepe rubber is quite similar to suede — it has a supple, slightly cushioned texture and will gently mould over time. The key difference is durability and grip.
- Suede soles are beautifully soft and breathable, ideal for strictly indoor use on dry surfaces, but they can wear more quickly and don’t offer as much traction.
- Crepe rubber soles provide the same comfort-led flexibility while offering added durability and light grip, making them more practical for everyday indoor wear.
