How to Care for Your Wool Slippers: A Complete Guide

Thank you for choosing Woolfi! We hope your slippers are already bringing comfort and joy to every step.

To help keep them in the best condition, here are some tips for caring for your Woolfi slippers and preserving their timeless charm.

Moulding to Your Feet

Woolfi slippers are designed to naturally mould to your feet for a snug, personalised fit. Thanks to the felting process, the wool retains its shape and durability over time, so you don’t need to worry about them stretching.

Cleaning Your Slippers Wool Slippers

Wool has the natural ability to self clean. Simply airing your slippers will help them to stay fresher for longer. The slippers can also be lightly vacuumed to remove any dust of dirt that may have attached to the fibres.

Life happens, and spills are inevitable. If your slippers get stained, act quickly! Wool’s natural fibre helps repel liquids, so gently dab the area with a cloth or paper towel before it absorbs. Avoid rubbing wet wool, as this can push stains deeper into the fibres. For stubborn stains, use a warm, damp cloth and wool-friendly soap, then let them air dry.

Important: Please don’t put your slippers in the washing machine—this can damage the delicate wool structure.

For stains on the suede soles, use a slightly damp cloth to dab the area, then let it air dry. A suede brush can help remove build-up and keep the soles looking fresh. Applying a suede protector before wear and reapplying it periodically adds an extra layer of protection.

Take care to store your slippers out of direct sunlight as UV exposure can alter the appearance of the wool.
